Ridiculous Diet Gadgets and Weight Loss Scams

Unfortunately, living in a world filled with advertisements and media influences, we are surrounded by diet, food, and weight images everywhere we look. There is a new diet fad every few months, diet warnings of what to eat and not eat, diet tips, etc. Many of these diets are ridiculous and use the media to try to get people to buy certain products. These advertisements and claims tend to create a culture where we are never supposed to be satisfied with our bodies! However, some humor may be found in the absurdness of many of the diet and weight loss gadgets that have emerged throughout the years. The following in a list of some of the worst and most ridiculous diet gadgets….and yes….people did buy these!

It is amazing to see some of the products out there on the market. Every year there are awards called the Slim Chance Awards that talk about the worst diet products, gimmicks, and gadgets. For more information about these awards, or any of the products above, check out the following websites.
